Responsibilities:
Oversee the profitable growth of business through directing and managing business development activities for Bangkok Agencychannel.
Primarily be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy to enhance the capabilities and productivity of this channel, as well as driving major Distribution Transformation initiatives from HO and Asia
· Responsible for defining and developing the strategies for growth and profitability that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy.
· Continually monitor the effectiveness of the business strategy by identifying opportunities for development and improvement and implementing changes
· Lead and oversee the development and growth of new business channels and maintain effective key agency relationships
· Create producers’ segmentation to seek new opportunities.
· Market and competitor analysis to identify trends, potential opportunities or risk
· Build, lead and inspire an effective and cohesive Distribution team for sourcing, managing and implementing new business opportunities to achieve profitable growth
· Implement and drive sales initiatives and capabilities to win in the market
· Understand the sales objectives, identify performance gaps, develop and deploy training inputs to build strong sales functional competencies at all levels
· identify and analyse areas of revenue generation opportunities for products and/or services in support of business goals and to monitor the sales agents overall effectiveness throughout the sales process
· Close interaction and cooperation with the Product, Claims, Finance and HR Departments to facilitate prompt and efficient servicing support to our producers.
· Other ad-hoc duties as tasked
· Deal with concerned internal and external parties such as claim, IT, accounting, finance, underwriting and etc.
Qualifications:
· Thai national
· Bachelor Degree in business or marketing or economics or finance or engineering is welcomed
· Good command of English
· Hand on experience managing new projects or initiatives from regional or HO is advantageous
· At least 10 years’ experience in managing sales team from FMCG or finance.
