HR Manager (Thailand & Cambodia) (170K)

Responsibilities :

Business Partnering

 

  •  Work closely with Country Business Manager, Thailand Leadership team and regional/global stakeholders to successfully implement center-led organizational model to deliver sustainable competitive advantage for Thailand and Cambodia.
  •  Align HR practices with strategic business initiatives, provide HR support for employees in Thailand and Cambodia. Keep current of the goals, capabilities, development priorities and needs of the organization and functions they support.
  •  Identify and establish relationships with key clients and stakeholders across the organization and functions they support.

Organizational Development

  •  Implement integration project and support Country Manager for organizational optimization after closing the acquisition.
  •  Initiate a program to develop a culture of excellence in the Thailand and Cambodia business that aligns with the company Core Values. This program should align to the Thailand and Cambodia business strategy, company culture of Safety and address staff retention by making Thailand the company of choice for employment in the Thailand Agricultural industry.
  •  Facilitates alignment of organizational processes, systems and culture with key business priorities, design optimal organizational structures, understand organization and cultural needs and drive change management efforts.
  •  Evaluate and implement programs to assure retention and competitiveness in the job market.
  •  Implement organizational restructure and people decision subject to business needs.
  •  Research, recommend, and implement recognition and/or incentive plans and gain necessary approval.

Talent Management

  •  Facilitate robust talent review process and succession planning to support business management strategies.
  •  Identify and establish training needs and requirements to meet business needs as well as aid employees in attaining job satisfaction.
  •  Work with line managers on action plans for talent pipeline buildup and management to ensure that all employees have an opportunity to give their best.

​Staffing

  •  Collaborate with leaders on recruitment plan and develop recruiting activities to search suitable talent by understanding business needs and requirements.
  •  Participant in screening process as business sees fit in a manner which ensures involvement of business and recruiter in the selection of best candidates.
  •  Alignment of job descriptions and role profiles including employee contracts and letters of offer
  •  Ensure integrity of hiring process with COE recruiting activities.

Compensation & Benefits and SAP

  •  Working closely with the C&B COE, learn and keep updated about Thailand and Cambodia labor legislation in C&B field. Ensure our company policies are in line with compliance to the local labor law.
  •  Act as SAP / MDM key user for Thailand and Cambodia to maintain employee records like entry / exit / position change with timely update.
  •  Responsible to review and update the Monthly / Quarterly Metrics Report for Thailand and Cambodia to enhance the data accuracy, support Thailand total remuneration survey.
  •  Coordinate Global Performance Management System implementation in Thailand and Cambodia and support employees to set up BPI’s and KPI’s.

Employee Relations

  • Address day to day employee/manager relations to initiate employee communication activities, low-performer improvement plan, exit interview, etc.
  •  Conduct performance management in line with human resources policies and procedures to ensure that employees receive fair and reasonable treatment to establish a supportive work environment.
  •  Responsible for investigating, resolving and advising on employee relations issues and recommend corrective action as needed.

Communication

  •  Develop, identify and establish effective communication channels internally and externally
  •  Write, edit, and proofread stories/articles to provide accurate mix (e.g., memos, posters, newsletter, video, social media, employee portal, etc.) of communications deliverables.
  •  Monitor feedback to address all opinions regarding the communication activities to ensure effectiveness of the program and ensure accuracy of the message conveyed.
  •  Initiate corporate social responsibility activities in Thailand and Cambodia, which can foster a good and healthy company image in Thailand and Cambodia.

Safety

  • Set the tone in the organization in influencing and continuing to implement best-in-class safety behaviors (particularly with fields sales professionals), application of Responsible Care where and when necessary and appropriate, ensure product stewardship accountabilities are met and maintain strong environmental and community responsibility.

Diversity and Inclusion

  •  Follow up company Global and Regional guidance, develop plans and activities that incorporate and set direction around Diversity and Inclusion for the Thailand business.

Others

  •  Work on a variety of special projects related to human resources and manage implementation of business unit and HR policies and programs.
  •  Develop and update local HR policies as identified and required from time to time.
  •  Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Qualifications:

  •  Requires 8+ years working experience as HR Generalist role in multi-national companies.
  •  Generalist experience in functions that include employee relations, talent management, training and development, compensation and benefits.
  •  Experience working with senior leaders, providing coaching and feedback, demonstrating courage in taking a stand and ability to influence required.
  •  Proactive in dealing with emerging issues and responsive in a timely manner to the management and employees.
  •  Sound HR knowledge and skills and proven ability to apply them in varied situations.
  •  Strong assessment and interviewing skills; proven experience and knowledge in C&B and labor law.
  •  Desire to understand broad business issues and apply to the projects.
  •  Good computer skills, knowledge of MS Office, SAP HR system.
