Responsibilities:
- Searching and screening for new business from customers lists, local and overseas sales-leads and techniques.
- Implementing new business strategies to expand existing customer base and to secure target prospects.
- Coordinating with overseas offices / agents on customer's requirements.
- Generating quotation, routing order, booking order, sales leads to overseas offices & agents.
- Meeting company assigned target: Key Account Development and new business trade lane.
- Meeting Individual & Collective Target per SIS
Customer Relationship
- Creating and maintaining good relationship with Customers to achieve target.
- Daily corresponding and communicating with customers and company network.
- Maintaining customer base of existing customers and explore new business opportunities.
- Accomplishing weekly sales visits with new and existing customers.
Others
- Updating in Concerto on weekly sales report (Sales activity, Quotation upload, traffic created).
- Complying with Quality Management System to ensure continual customer satisfaction.
- Applying and filing for credit applications and follow up for outstanding payments with customers.
- Reaching KPI's agreed with Management.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- At least 5 years’ experience in sales function in Freight Forwarding Industry.
- Experience in Import & Export Forwarding Business.
- Experience in Europe Trade Lane.
- Knowledge of international business and cargo handling will be an advantage.
- Good Interpersonal & relations skills with all levels.
- Good selling, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Good command of English.
