Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the management of the Record to Report, covering Data Management, General Ledger Accounting, Close Processes, Assets Accounting, Statutory Reporting etc.
• Efficiently and effectively lead delivery of the R2R function for the BUs with the scope, KPIs, SLAs, lead and motivate the teams, timely submissions of the reports, ensure continuous improvement of processes, and absorbing new work from BUs into operations in order to deliver high quality/low cost services to BUs. This position will be integral part of building the site’s Finance operations team, supporting and developing staff.  This role will require an influence, a commitment to the change effort of shared service.  This role will be highly collaborative with others across the globe in Finance and other functions to ensure key learning and best practices
• Together with AP, AR, coordinates activities of team members engaged in these processes. Specific areas of responsibility include: to enhance the existing working process by identifying the improvement areas, building best practices and sustain the process which generally lead to productivity improvement.
• Leading process improvement activities.
• Ensure processes are executed efficiently and effectively with appropriate training, documentation and controls
• Closely monitor R2R activities, which includes processing journal entries and intercompany transactions, handling fixed assets accounting, performing close process activities, bank accounting and reconciliations,
• Responsible for reconciling control and current accounts including Balance Sheet Reconciliations,
• Responsible for maintaining R2R data, Responsible for reporting activities, Handling Tax accounting and Cost and Profit Center Allocation activities, Handling bank accounting and bank reconciliations,
• Respond to BU contacts/customers directly and to deliver error free process
• Handling ad-hoc requests on a timely manner
• Hold self and team accountable to ensure compliance with all necessary polices Ensure that the balance sheet items that are reconciled
• Participate/ lead  in special projects such as SAP and Balance sheet reconciliation

Qualification:

• At least bachelor degree in accounting.
• 6-8  years of experience in finance operation with good expertise in R2R and related Finance processes
• Demonstrate process improvement skills
• Experience of working in shared service operations would be preferred
• End-to-end process knowledge on R2R
• Working Knowledge of ERP (JDE)/ SAP would be preferred
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Office
